A: Loving the Classics does not charge you money for the movies themselves. All fees cover the costs associated with the time it takes to transfer the films, package them and ship them to you.
Q: Are all of the movies sold by Loving the Classics in the public domain?
A: Yes. Loving the Classics does not knowingly sell films that are commercially available. These films are rare and are not protected under copyright law. They are for private movie collectors and should not be resold. If you believe any film offered on the site infringes on an existing copyright, contact Loving the Classics with proof of ownership and it will be immediately removed from the database.
Q: If you don’t have a movie that I want, can you get it for me?
A: Loving the Classics will try to locate any film not currently available in the database, as long as it is in the public domain.
Q: What are the shipping costs?
A: Shipping costs depend on the number of titles ordered and will be shown to you when you add items to your cart.
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of any film you receive, Loving the Classics will issue a refund for the purchase price only (shipping costs not included) within 60 days of purchase.
Q: What is the quality of the films?
A: Loving the Classics strives to offer the best prints available. Please bear in mind that these movies are old and will show their age. They may have low sound and be slightly fuzzy. In most cases they have not been restored and will show imperfections. But it is in these imperfections that the beauty of classic films often lies.
Q: How long will it take to ship the titles?
A: If the title is in stock, it will ship within 7 business days. If the title is out of stock, you will be notified in a note on your order. Out-of-stock items may not be available for shipment for 2-6 weeks.
